Mr. Bachmann.

I wanted to thank you for coming out with the Lawndale ventilated boxcar.

The Alexander Chapter-NRHS recently obtained a Lawndale boxcar for restoration and it was moved to our location today. Check out

Our car is a little more "ventilated" at the moment than yours, but thanks for raising awareness of the little line!

Matt,
There is a ET&WNC box car out on a farm some were in either Tenn, or NC that has all its original parts from the formal days of the line. Right now the poor thing is in bad condition and being used to store grain for the farm it is on.

I think it is great that Bachmann has put some Carolina road names on the roster of On30 but it would be awesome if Bachmann put more Carolina road names on the roster. We need more CAROLINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope we will get to see pictures after the restoration is complete.

As one with little mechanical aptitude I often marvel at the results of such projects. If I go to an antique/vintage car or motorcycle show I love it when the owners display "before and after" pictures of their vehicles.
