The UK, a Doneldon states, had very few armoured trains. One of the most interesting was the one that ran along the 15" gauge Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway, the world's smallest common carrier railway.

Here's a photo of the "Coastal Defence Train" that ran along the line.  It is credited with shooting down one Bf109.
