Does someone make specific detail parts for the modeler to purchase that would be
easily
fitted to the mogul and 4-4-0 so that they might be updated? Domes and cab would be difficult for me to find. Headlight....easy; add a generator and a more modern engine would be had.

Trackside Details has a lot of basic pasrts--including domes. You might be on your own for a cab--although I think there are some companies making laser-cut kits. Evergreen has styrene sheet and shapes.

Yup - look for Banta wooden cab models - they are easy to make into very fine models. Dunno if they make one for the mogul, though, if you mean the little one...
