Do N Scale E-Z Trak rerailers only come in curved pieces and do some modellers use a an extra, manual {non-electric} rerailer after tight curves?

GTW-
Rerailers also come in a 10-inch straight. You can find a complete list of Bachmann products in the on-line store on this web site.
You shouldn't need rerailers after curves or anywhere else if your track work is properly done. That's especially simple with EZTrack as it aligns and holds together very well. If your trains derail on your curves you are trying to run equipment (locomotives and scale-length passenger cars are the usual suspects) which is too long for your curves. Rerailers won't help that; only reengineering your layout will fix the problem.

I do not like bachmann rerailers anyway because even the non terminal ones have the the slot for the terminal plug making them unsuitable for crossings. Plus they are too steep.

Check to make sure your rail joiners are actually on the rail, and not under it, if you're having derailments. It's easy, especially with 'N' track, to have a rail joiner slide under the rail you're trying to put it on. Just slide a finger along the rail top and you'll feel a bump in the rail if this happened.

If at first you don't succeed, throw it in the spare parts box.
