"N" Baldwin 4-6-0 Steam Loco DCC

I purchased a DCC steam loco (Bachmann item no. 51458) at strain show yesterday and being a novice I did not realize the DCC was a type of control for the engine.  My system is a small, inexpensive DC system.  Is there anything I can/need to do to the engine to make it run on my system?

  It will run fine on you're DC system. It has a dual mode decoder in the tender that will automaticaly switch between DC or DCC.....Mike
