Hello everyone! The valve gear on my wonderful new EM-1 has fallen off! How should I reinstall it?
Ps I don't want to mail it in for repairs because I just weathered it yesterday.

Wow, that's tough. Might want to look at photos of EM-1s because that would be tough to quarter.

I had a similar issue. While the valve gear didn't fall off, the locomotive would lock up when placed in reverse. The valve gear had slipped. I sent mine back to the Hobby shop I purchased it from and they repaired it quickly. (Since I had custom sound installed by the shop this voided my warranty.) My suggestion would be to send it back to Bachmann under warranty. They will either repair or replace your model. I would contact Bachmann first for return instructions. The weathering issue may not be a problem.
