Acetate Decal Application

I am building a structure and I need to know how to apply acetate decals. Can anyone help please ???

I haven't heard of this type of decal before. Is it like the wet water slide we know of (Champ, MicroScale, etc).

Upon further investigation found that part of the decals are not really decals. Rather they are very thin strips of acetate that you cut to fit then glue onto windows or doors. Sort of like window material used in other structures. The other half had a very thin paper backing, which when peeled off left an adhesive backed decal.
Decals threw me off as there was not much for directions and the kit (from Atlas) was made in 1963 (+/-). So decals were kind of old.
