Hi, Sorry to hear you have a problem.

What were the symptoms, gears grinding? motor running but will not move?   Have you checked all the connections and the switch behind the smoke box.  If it  is a brand new set you may want to contact the service department and send it in for warranty repair.  If it was bought used there would be a flat fee charge for repair.

There are no dumb or stupid questions, just questions!

Brand new out of the box, I could not hear the motor running, just stopped. I guess I will check that switch one more time. Like I said it went around three or four times pulling all of the cars and worked fine, than it just stopped I would hate to return it for something stupid. Thanks for your help

Do the lights work?  If not I'd look wires between the power pickups and the mother board.
