My local train store told me that sometime during the first part of this year Bachman was going to be offering a 4-6-0 steam engine with a sound decoder installed as part of their line of steam engines?

Is this true?

Please tell me yes  ???

Thanks in advance.

Dear Phil,
There was no announcement, and I haven't heard of one.
Anything is possible, though...
Have fun!

Thanks for the reply, I'll have to rattle my store owners cage to see where he got his information.

I'll keep my hopes up for sure, I want two of those types of engines for my layout and the ready to run factory installed sound decoder is the way I want to go.

Thanks again.

Hopefully they will. ;D

Ya know Hoople, some of us just don't do some things well and I'm one who doesn't do close up small hard wire procedures, I tried and botched things up.
The Bachmann engine I tried it with didn't go back together as well as it came apart LOL, so I just want to get it done right and with as little frustration as possible.

That HO 4-6-0 steam is a great looking and useful engine so I really want to put acquire with sound so I can bring it to life on my layout.

Let's hope.
