I just found and purchase a 175th year anniversary box car, is this one of a kind or did it come with a set Thank you

Wade Colyer

The 93374 175th Anniversary box car was first listed in the 2008 catalog. The price was $50.00. I've never seen one listed in a set.

The first item made were Spanish combs. Here's the history.

A little more description would be helpful.  175th anniversary of what?  What does it say on the side of the car?  Does it have 2 axles or 4?  175 years put it back to 1839 or before.

Thanks for the info,, it says on the side 1833-2008 Bachman 175 also has the products listed on the other side f the door, being Big hauler, plasticville, EZ Comand EZ Track system Williams, and Spectrum, two trucks withtwo wheels in each truck, metal wheels. Kind of an antique wwhite, with a red roof and door. The door slide open. I will try to give better info in the future, but I hadto sneek this one in :D

1833??
my first thought was "that cant possibly be right"..but it is!

Bachmann 175th anniversary HO scale boxcar:

The 1833 date refers to the founding of a company that made things like hair brushes made of ivory.
then they got into plastics in the early 20th century, and made things like plastic sunglasses.
They started making model trains in 1968:
