i have a dc layout and i want a cordless throtle or i want a dcc layout how do i do this?(i got powerlock track)

scottychaos

you buy a DCC system with a cordless throttle and hook it up to your track.

(your loco also needs a decoder, if it doesnt already have one.)

i would need one with a touge connectors

Im not sure what powerlock track is..
I tried googling it, but didnt find anything useful..

I assume its some kind of brand-name snap-track?
whatever it is, attaching wires from a DCC system is exactly the same as attaching the wires to a DC system..

take the two wires that connect the track to the DC powerpack, and instead of  the DC powerpack those two wires would attach to the DCC system.
the connection to the track is identical either way.

All you do is buy a DCC system, 2 decoders, a throttle and you've got walkaround.
