Just thought I would share a couple pics of my layout in progress..

So far so good! Seems to be a good start.
Where does the section of track in the first picture with the switches go?

For a 4 x 8 that looks nicely laid out.  Well done, very creative.

Cheers.

Ken,
The section splits off into an industry, a cement works in this case. Thanks everyone for the comments. I'm following the book, HO Railroad Start to Finish .

Looks good.

That #4 (I assume it is a 4 and not a 6) gonna have any trouble connecting to your curve?

To which #4 are you referring to? There are multiple #4s, but they are all side lines and none of them are intended to connect back to the curve according to the track plan in the book that I'm following.

The one that is in the middle of your first picture, that is on the outside and has the curve leading to it.
