  I can remember when the only commercial vendors were the LHS's. The Supertrain show just keeps getting bigger & better every year. Maybe we will hit 15.000+ visiter's this year.

Weeell, with this new (also only a couple yrs old) venue for the first time,  within walking distance of surrounding residential.

And also again within walking dist. of the LRT  (http://www.calgarytransit.com/plan-a-trip/)  we may have a couple hundred more 'visitors' than last year  ;)

One of our 'crew'  put together a methods of (decent) access page;

All the better to get to the show, and see Bachmann products.

Hope they are not just travelling lite,   but do display some of their LS line-up :)

Bachmann in the "building"  !

Had a terrific chat with the Bachmann rep up from 'East Erie Ave.'

Also their Canadian rep out of TO !

Will be stopping in tomorrow again to drop off a teaser bit of info of a Shay that Mr. Melville   could not recall ever hearing about  :)

They stated it had been almost 2yrs that they have had their 'eye' on SuperTrain and it was a great coincidence that it was also in our new venue.

And also that it was the first  show in CANADA they had ever acquired booth space to exhibit at to visit with primarily Canadian-based end users and their vendors (i know they had a chat with UT of Nanton, Tony asked me where they were located in the 'bldg' as he was taking a break from his booth and on the way to 'touch-base' with them...).

Sadly no LS this visit . . . .

nite,
doug c

p.s. also 2015 catalogs were being offered to the ones that asked (wheee last one in my library was from eclsts'04), and to upcoming younger'uns that stopped by the booth looking to be really interested in trains..... the future of the hobby !!
