Has anyone gone to this show before? and if so is it worth the time /money? do they tend to have a lot of items for sale and at fairly ok prices?
I am looking at going to the one in puyallup WA this month thanks for any info on this subject have a great night.

In 2007, it's hard to know about the show. Depends on how many dealers from your area participate. With gas now back to $3, only you will know if it is worth it.

How about you go & report on it? How many HO-N-Z scalers? any deals?
Bring a camera to get photos of any club layouts?

The usual plan is to bring plenty of cash (cards work OK too). Have a notebook to make notes for the vendor's location. They may have something back at the store.

Much depends on what you're looking for. The modular displays are cool to look at (though they will obviously vary based on location). If you're into Lionel, HO, or N, you can probably hook yourself up with a good deal or three. I'm not, and there's little for the large scale enthusiast (at least at the Denver shows). I go for the tools, books, and accessories like figures, etc. Some years are better than others, but it's at the very least fun to wander around and browse. I don't know that I'd drive two hours in the pouring rain to go to one, but if it's within an hour's drive or so, it's probably worth it.
