 Hi All
I to cannot wait to see the new 4-4-0 engine. Their has been a lot of talk about the size and I have put some pictures together. Some of the pictures I did not take and would like to say to the ones who took them thanks for takening them.

You can see how the lengths run by looking at the pictures and the ruler.
I believe that the 4-4-0 is 2 1/2 inches shorter than the 2-8-0 and around 1 1/4 inches shorter than 2-6-0.
The 2-8-0 is around 13 inches long.

Great work, Shayman!  Thanks for the great pictures.

I sure hate it when I told myself that I have all the locos I can possibly use or want and then this 4-4-0 comes along. I am going to get at least one and hopefully sooner than later.
Is there any information out there about the recommended minimum track radius? Same as the 2-6-0?

Dear Oe,
Yes, 18" radius should be fine.
Have fun!
