Anyone have a spare Forney cab?

Does anyone out there have a spare "steel-style" Forney cab, like the one on the #208 stock model? It does NOT have to be undecorated.

Or, would someone be willing to trade their steel one for a wood one (like the #209 stock number)

Thanks

Matt

Matt,
if you can't get one from someone in the US, then I have two - one of which I'd swap for a wooden style cab.

actually no, probably not..
bachman does not have a "parts department"..never has had one.
they have a repair department, and sometimes you get a specific part from them IF they happen to have the part you want left over from a repair loco..
but you cant just order any part you like from Bachman..they dont do that.

True. I sent in an order for a pilot stay brace that was missing from my Forney as delivered. Never got an answer, so I will probably eventually make one myself.

Standards? STANDARDS? We don't need no stinking standards!

I've heard that the Service Dept. is easier to reach on the telephone, and doesn't check their email that often.  So you might want to give them a call.
