GP40

I have 2 BNSF GP40s (#s 3001 and 3002). While running them in a consist 3001 stopped running. Lights still worked, just no other power. Sent it in and it was returned with the explanation of reset to factory settings and oiled. It is running fine but now 3002 has developed the same problem (in almost the same length of time). Is there a way that I can reset it to factory settings without voiding the warranty?

Welcome. There is a HO forum but this will probably be moved.

Reset. CV8, enter 8. Cycle power. Should run on address 3.

I suspect it is because of how Bachmann formats the page. What everyone sees first is General Discussion at the bottom of the page, not the other forums.
