Give a looksee here:
http://hoseeker.net/
...if you first have not had any luck looking on this site under Parts and Information, then Product Reference.
If, after that you have no luck, my suggestion is post a picture here with what you have with the shell off and some guidance will hopefully find its way to you.

It's a GS4 4-8-4 Daylight:
http://shop.bachmanntrains.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1855
I would suspect the insides are similar to the N&W 4-8-4 J-Class exploded diagram here:
http://www.bachmanntrains.com/home-usa/dwg/dwgs/H821X-IS001-B.PDF
The only wiring diagram I could find is for installing a DCC decoder and sound in the GS4. It's at:

If at first you don't succeed, throw it in the spare parts box.

Welcome.
I would suggest taking the shell off of the frame and take a picture. Get a Photo Bucket account to do this. Makes things a lot easier for others here. The only way to post pictures.

Does the tender have metal wheels?

What a novel idea. I wish I had thought of that first.

This is from the Bachmann Parts page for the older standard GS4.

If you are thinking DCC, you would need metal wheels with pickups and six wires between the loco and tender. Just a guess on my part.

You are welcome.
oldmain
, get the parts from wherever you can
. As my compatriots have identified it as an older model, you may very well find a donor on an auction site such as Ebay.
Rich
is an excellent source of info for Photo Bucket.
