I have had this heavy mountain for about five years now.  it run and pulls great.  I notice as of late that after applying power and reaching 30 to 40 percent this loco starts to squeal.  I have lube wheel bearing and the worm gears but I still get this squeal.  any other suggestion would be helpfull.
Also, I use a Zephyr with a UT1.
Also has any one very tried to use dawn dish soap on a q-tip to clean drive wheels, would like to know before I try.
thank for your time and suggestion.

Try lubricating the motor bearings with 1 drop of light oil.

Use denatured alchohol - best at 91% and a Q-tip to clean your wheels.  You might want to put one drop of oil on your rods and valve gear, too.
