My train (HO scale) will not go around the  track without a car coming uncoupled, usually the same car.  How do I fix this problem?  I would like for the train to run around the track and not have to constantly re-couple a car.  I am very new to model trains.  I only get it out during December and let it run around the Christmas tree.

Thanks

Which car are you having trouble with?  Perhaps it's not designed for the curve radius of the track you're using.

Does it come uncoupled in the same spot each time?  Maybe a rail is riding on top of a joiner creating a bump.

If all else fails you might need to replace the coupler(s).

DT3, what kind of couplers are these?  Knuckle kind or horn hook kind?  Brand?
