hi,I recently purchased the bachmann hon30 fornay, my question is this, since the engine is dcc on board does bachmann or anyone make a sound module for it, or is it pin specific. thank you in advance for giving me info. ???

Bachmann does not make any HOn30 locomotives.

Bachmann partners with Soundtraxx for their sound-equipped locomotives, if you want to add one of theirs you want the TSU-750 Light Steam module along with a speaker and baffle kit.

It doesn't look like Soundtraxx puts the 8-pin decoder plugs on their modules, you'll need to wire one up yourself if your Forney has the socket.

An aside,

The SoundTraxx TSU-750 is a sound decoder, it is not a sound module.

SoundTraxx builds a decoder for Bachmann that is factory installed in some Bachmann locomotives, which accepts a plug in sound module.   Example is the Bachmann Spectrum On30 Heisler
