Does anybody know if any HO companies make, or made SP SDP45's?

Also, is there any left in existence in real life?

Athearn did an SDP45 at one point or another. I recall vaugely that there's one in a museum somewhere, but I may be wrong.

I had one of those Athearns, not sure what happened to it though...
It wasn't too long ago that it was run, so you could probably still find one floating around somewhere.

I think you might be out of luck. I've seen several site about kitbashing them, but it looks tough. I know its been done before.

The only way to get an SDP45 is find a brass one or scratchbuild one with Cannon parts. If you wait a little while there is a company making modules to build your own diesel shells. The name escapes me at the present time.Dan
