Hello.
I have a Bachmann doodlebug and would like to add passengers and a motorman.
How do I safely separate the body from the frame?
Thank you.

The main Body has 4 clips on each side. Slip a toothpick or jewelers screwdriver in there to separate and lift off shell.

Coach is similar with 4 clips along each side rail. I don't think any screws hold the bodies, but the trucks and couplers may have to be removed first.

Look at the exploded view.....should be fairly easy to do.

Thank you, Sid.
I'll give it a try.

ernie  The body shell slips of with toothpicks or a small  screw driver, at least my 2 did. no need to take the trucks off but if you do remove them and the universal joint pops out  from the motor it can be  trying to get back in,ask me why? you will have to remove the circuit board to make access to it easier to line the pesky little joint up as it has a flat side. i start at the front and lift up and it usually pops right off check marks SPOOKSHOW .COM for more info ,if needed
