I now have a layout with 2 number 4 remote switches since my layout has 22 inch radius track.
I plan on adding another set that comes with 18 radius track. Should I only use number 4 switches throughput the layout.
Thank you in advance for your advice.

If possible, always use the highest numbered turnout that you can, that works with the layout.

Should I only use 22 inch radius track throughout the layout?

The same applies to curves as does numbered turnouts, if possible, use as high a radius curve as will fit on the layout.  It allows for a wider range of locos (in length) to be run on the layout.

Have you ever heard of, or used, Anyrail?

I designed my HO EZ track layout with Anyrail and did not have any problems.

Send them a mail.
I did and asked if they could change the sleeper size for each brand , and they did.
