How do I remove the shell from my Bachmann GP40  BNSF.   I need to lube the gears
Is there an instruction sheet I can down load for it.

WoundedBear

Who is Bob?  ???

You probably just need to remove the couplers and boxes and then just lift the shell up, but it could be different depending on when your model is from exactly.

My couplers are attached to the shell.  I have tried prying the fuel tanks off in hopes there would be screws or something to allow me to remove the shell.  I am afraid to pry too hard as I don't want to damage anything.

Is this your model?

The shell should just pry off from the fuel tank.

I was also wondering who Bob was.... ???

rowdymax

Yes , it is my model.  I will try that and let you know what happens   Thanks

FYI, I'm not Bob (if that matters).

If at first you don't succeed, throw it in the spare parts box.
