I have a Pacific 4-6-2. What can be done about the contact wipers on the drivers? The middle one especially seems to catch on switches. I am currently replacing my old worn out EZ track that used to only come out for Christmas with code 83 on the small layout I am building. This is frustrating, all of a sudden the engine just stops (shorts out) on the switch. Trying to bend back a fragile piece that small is not easy. (I don't use the term turnout as for 30 years on the 12 inch to the foot railroad I never heard a switch called a turnout. Pet peeve)

You maybe could trim maybe 1/32” off the end and re bend for better contact.
