Hello, Showing Bachmann's updated literature with all the default values is listing cv 112. This directly controls the radiator fans and air compressor to offer

either auto ,or Manual function of these sounds if it were a Tsumani sound decider. It is not at all and has no user operated sound functions for the fan or air

compressor and has no fan or air compressor sound loaded in the sound decoder. This misprint was just corrected and removed from the entire diesel sound

value documentation, but now it sows up on this and a few newer releases. Do these have the sounds running without user control in the background. If so how

do you turn it up since going by the literature posted online this would differ from Tsumani in the way the default value is set and there are no volume control

for these sound effects listed. What part of the documentation is correct the older listing that were corrected of this .OR, Has the gp 30 EMD e7 and sd40-2 had a upgrade and the documentation is missing some cv's that deal with these sound effects? Ready to make a video of all these great sound effects wile showing off our new locos with our printed documentation like a demo. Just would like to get thing correct to do this .Thanks

If you don't hear it it's not there. Sometimes documentation can have misprints that are eventually corrected as you noted. SoundTraxx provides the documentation and is responsible for updating it so if you note things that don't seem correct feel free to contact them and bring it to their attention. Soundvalue decoders do not have all the features of a Tsunami2 decoder - it is a different processor that is more economical to manufacture from a price point perspective thus it is not as full featured as the more expensive Tsunami2.
