If you're talking standard switches, and you're not using the basic EZ-Comman system, the answer is yes.

You just won't be able to use the factory plug on the end of the switch wires. The center wire will go the the common 'C' connector on the ESU Switch Pilot, the outer wires go to 'Out A' and 'Out B'. If the normal through and diverging routes are reveresed from what you want, just switch the wires on 'A' and 'B'.

If at first you don't succeed, throw it in the spare parts box.

i'm using dynamis dcc system and i was thinking of buying some green switch extension wires and cutting wires halfway and maybe find metal to make some pins for non-pin end of green wire. i guessing bachmann uses brass for pins

Or you could just cut the plugs off the turnout wires and make your own extension wires using something like this:

I use the black wire for the common that connects to the center turnout wire, green for the 'normal through route' and red for the 'diverging route'. Color coding makes it easier to keep track of things at the controller end.
