Is there a Bachman HO layout book keyed to Bachman track ?

Hunt

Click Here for one source. The book does not included all sectional track pieces.

Thank you. I was hoping I could pick a layout and order the track package for it.

Hunt

Last I looked, Bachmann does not have track packages for any layout design.

Is there an HO maker that does have a layout book with track packages ? Thanks.

I'm racking my brain here because there was some place a few years ago that sold track packages and I can't remember now who it was. If I remember, I'll let you know.

Do not limit yourself to a book or track package.

HO track plans from simple to excessive track usage overkill can be found on line. Use the materials list to purchase what is required from best price source.  Warning- the geometry of some track pieces (example turnouts) are not standardize between manufactures /brands/types of track so use the track brand and type  the plan you like was designed for or as most do compensate for the geometry difference.

Atlas has some track plan packages online.

This guy has track packages available. It looks like he has all the layouts in the Bachmann Layout Book but I don't see that he has the book available. It seems like he could just throw the book in as a bonus if you buy one of his track packages. The book can be bought on-line from a variety of places. Hunt gave you one source. You can scroll through the pages on the Crazy Model Train link below and he has pictures of the different track packages.

There's always Bachmann's version of the World's Greatest Hobby layout, which itself was based on the Madison Central:

If at first you don't succeed, throw it in the spare parts box.

You could also download 'AnyRail' and design your own layout using the many 'book' designs available on the net as a starting point.

I just looked at my copy of the Bachmann book E-Z Model Railroads. It's been a while. I was thinking they had more plans in it. The plans in there are pretty basic. Thanks Hunt for jogging my memory. The Crazy Model Train site must be getting his layout plans from somewhere else or just creating them with software. Note, too, that all the turnout/switches he uses are DCC.
