replacement motor blk for UB25 locomotive

I need to know which wire to connect to which.  the connectors are different and the wire colors are also, when replacing a new Bachmann motor blk into an older aristo craft UB25.

You will need to figure out which are track pickup and which are motor on both ends.

I hesitate to give you instructions, since wiring can vary over the years.

Some time with a multimeter, or a friend with electrical knowledge will be needed.

Sorry, no "perfect wiring" instructions are really available.

Have you taken the motor block apart (4 screws on top and two on the bottom)  to see where the wires go?
Also,  I was looking at the photos of the Bachmann motor block and see that they are not using the same kind of connector.   How did you resolve that issue?
