Why has there not been a re-release of the long caboose since 2009?  Was it not successful?  Seems like it would not be as expensive or extensive as re-releasing some of the engines.

Mickey, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it has been said since the passing of Mr Riley, 1:20.3 is dead. There will be no more issues of any product, loco or rolling stock.

I would be overjoyed if the Bachmann would post here that I am incorrect, but I will not hold my breath for that to happen. I am a 1:20 guy as well and have resigned myself to either scratch, bash or eBay.

Happy Railroading Mickey

Lee Riley was responsible for a lot (all?) of the product development in the 1:20.3 and On30 lines. His passing took a lot of the wind out of the sails for those lines.

If you're looking for a long caboose, try Star Hobbies. I think I saw one there when I was there a few months ago.

Later,

K
