recently acquired a 38 ton shay two-truck model 82198 however it did not come with any user/instruction manual and I'm having a devil of a time trying to locate any?

Does anyone know where it/they can be obtained?

thanks

Hi Rick,

Some good info on youtube.  Start here:

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=bachmann+38+ton+shay

Also here is a link to the parts diagram:

If you have more questions and need help come back here and we will try to help!

Enjoy the new find.

thanks for the response Bill.  I'll be sure to check these out, but is there any actual printed user instructions/manuals?

Been so long I can't remember what came with them. and my box is in storage.

Hopefully someone else will chime in with more detail.

I remember mine came with the typical bag of goodies like pick, pry bar, oil can, etc. and the water hose to fill from a stream.

The original 36 ton version came with an instruction booklet and video, but I don't think the later 38 ton version came with either.
