Does anyone know if Bachmann is planning on re-issuing or remaking the G-scale Handcar-Gandy dancer?

HI,

Last I heard they are not planning to reissue it, but that was 9 months ago.

Ok, thanks. Looks like I'll have to keep an eye out for a used one somewhere.

From my personal statement cperience and what I have read everywhere, their life span is not long before the plastic gears split.  I've even read of them splitting just sitting in a box new.
