I purchased the Empire Builder set which included the 44211 controller, and then bought the Nickel Silver E-Z Track Expander Set which includes a left and right remote turnout.  I can't figure out how to connect the turnouts remotely.  I fear the 44211 is not the right controller for this, or am i missing something?  Thanks in advance for your help.

the included controle for  set's usually is 44212 - same as 44211 but with outlet socket for accessories (turnouts/signal's etc)
another wall wart may work ? (just for turnout use)

Thanks for your reply.  A follow up:  the expander set came with the left and right turnouts as I mentioned, each with a green wire attached, and a black box to connect to each of those green wires, but only one red power wire.  Even if I had a 44212, how would these be connected?  Are there connection instructions available anywhere?

Runninrep,

Suggest viewing the following Bachmann video the first time with sound turned off as the misnomers and inconsistent nomenclature used may confuse you.

In the video you will see why only one red power wire is included in the Nickel Silver E-Z Track Expander Set

Short Red Power Wire - Old style (N, HO, On30, G Scales)

Model/Item 44219 16V DC Multi-Accessory Power Supply

The Multi-Accessory Power Supply is covenant but not necessary to use. A less expensive method is to splice the red power wires to wires of a Wall Wart power supply/adapter/transformer  with an output rated  16 volts AC  and 1 Amp (1000 mA).  Remove the Wall Wart’s plug at wire end, splice and solder its wires to the red power wires. There are many ways to connect without soldering. Using screw terminal blocks is one. Google connect small gauge wires without soldering to see more methods
