What is the current draw (Amps) when the Bachmann HO-Scale 0-6-0 USRA 2026 is running fully loaded?
Cheers.

Give us your definition of what you mean by "fully loaded"?

Running at it's maximum load capability.

The prototype USRA 0-6-0 was designed for use as a light switcher, not to pull 120 car trains. If you use the model in the same way the current draw will be somewhere around 1/4 amp, if that.

If at first you don't succeed, throw it in the spare parts box.

I suspect the drivers will be slipping long before 120 cars are added. lol

Below is what I have used to measure motor current for some years. I used a couple different meters over the years. I built my first one from a kit when I was about sixteen. It is long gone. It had a mechanical pointer.
Every model railroader should have a multi meter and know how to use it. Solves a lot of trouble shooting issues.
