Which Bachmann locos come with the decoder NOT set to address 3?

I understand some Bachmann locos come with the loco address set to a number other-than 3.  Some products have the address set to the number painted on the loco shell.

Can someone please tell me which Bahcmann products come with the decoder NOT set to address 3?

None that I ever heard of. Address 3 is the standard factory default for all decoder manufacturers I'm aware of. Some stores would reprogram the locomotive address at the time of purchase for a customer. And a lot of "new" stuff sold on eBay has had address changes done and gets sold without being reset to the factory default address.

As Len said, the default address for decoders is 3. All DCC on board and Sound Value locomotives i have purchased have had the address 3 right out of the box. Atlas, though, has been known to use the last 2 digits of the locomotive number for the address. Example, Western Maryland RS3 #189 was programmed to address 89 when i got it.

Yeah, the only company that comes with correctly addressed decoders (to the road number) is Blackstone Models, or at least they used to... haven't made any purchases from them in a while.

The Atlas 'preprogrrammed' address happened when they came out with their 'Commander' DCC system, and didn't last long. It confused people who didn't read the box and expected address 3 when they first put it on the track. Also, DCC systems that could support 4 digit addressing, unlike the Atlas 'Commander', were coming out and people wanted to use the entire road number. Not just the last two digits.
