I have a Bachmann RS 3 DCC and want to remove the truck covers to lube the gears.  Do these pry off like they do in the OLD (2010) you tube video?  That engine appears different like just a DC one.  Is there a different way?  The tabs don't seem to be there.
Thanks

Looking at the exploded diagram https://www.bachmanntrains.com/home-usa/dwg/dwgs/HO%20RS3_DCC%20EQUPPED.pdf it looks like you just use a small screwdriver to pry the ends of the covers over the 'wedges' molded onto the front and rear of the truck.

If at first you don't succeed, throw it in the spare parts box.

Thanks, Len
They just pop off by prying the inside end near the middle and just snap it back in.  Make sure the shorter end is on the outside.
