My locomotive won’t run or stay on the track the second it does

Hi there,

I'm very new to model trains. I just recent bought the Silverado and Durango HO E-Z plug and play set. My train, however, won't run. And the one second it did, it came to the turn and derailed instantly. Here's what I know:

- all the rails are aligned correctly.
- power goes to the transformer and often the train because the headlight turns on.
- the loco did run for a split second but derailed at the turn
- I can't seem to align the wheels to the track no matter how hard I try

Does anyone have a suggestion? Is the issue *my* locomotive or is it this set in general?

How fast were you going around the curve? 

You say you have a "transformer."  Is it called "E Z command?"

Call the Bachmann service department.  They'll know the right questions to ask to get to the bottom of the issue.
