securing G scale structures outdoors

does anyone have suggestions for securing G scale structures outdoors, yet allow for easy removal for repairs or painting. The high winds we occasionally get here in Nevada raise heck with the scenic parts of the layout.

mount them to a base of cement backer board (firmly) and then bury the board in the dirt, or in extreme cases put a spike on the underside into the ground.
