Hi all,

I bought one of the christmas sets (N-scale, nice!), plus an extension set with 2 switches. In various posts I've read that I need to connect the red wire of those switches (with horse shoe connecters but I'd need to take those off) and insert the wires in the 2 protruding connecters at the back side of the speed controller, between the mains power connector and the power wire to the rails.

But... my controller has no such connectors....

Now what?

Thanks,
  Simon

Unfortunately, it means you have to use another power supply to control them. It needs to be 12-16 volts but can be either AC or DC. Which begs the question, knowing that many people are going to buy layout expansion sets or individual switches for their layout, why is Bachmann even putting controllers in their set that lack accessory terminals? DOn't they realize that this leaves a bad taste in the mouths of the very people they want to sell their products to?
