Replacing trucks on F-9 Santa Fe N scale locomotive

I have an F-9 Santa Fe N Scale train set. The set has the  Rapido Couplers.
I would like to change the coupler to Marco or better couplers.  Is it possible to change the locomotive correction? If so how is this done?
