animated box car HO

I have a TYCO box car with a brakeman that moves on top,  the rubber bands are missing
can someone tell me how to fix it.

You're best off looking at a train show or on ebay for a new one. Tyco stuff is generally better to replace then to repair, especiallly since they are so cheap and plentiful.
