JP of Acton MA, USA writes,

I am looking for a replacement horn, for a Williams Amtrak Metroliner (see attached pic)
I purchased the Metroliner in '?' in July, from an E-Bay seller, but when the Metroliner arrived at my residence, and I unboxed it, I noticed that the decorative horn detail part was broken off.

Would anyone know where I can find that particular part?
Does any one have a collection of spare parts, that include the horn detail?

Yeah, I know that E-Bay is sometimes a good place to start - to see if someone might be selling a 'junk-condition' car with useable parts, but I simply want just the horn, not the whole car.
Thanks.

Hi JP,

671 here...Check on the "WEB"...I have visited some sites in the past that sell after market up-grade parts for locomotives.
They sell bells, steps, lights, horns, figures, etc.

This may be your best 'Shot' at a replacement part.
If this does not work...Try a Lionel parts supplier, they should have a "Horn" replacement available that would fix your challenge.

Hope this helps...Keep the Steamers Smokin'.

Actually, Lionel produced an Amtrak Amfleet 'Control Cab' car (similar to a Metroliner, but without the pantograph and motors).
I tried looking up the parts list for the Lionel Amfleet Control Cab car, but there were no parts available for consumer purchase.
