Hi new to the forum. I have a post war 2333 train with a bad horn and relay. I am looking to upgrade. I have the dummy train that has plenty of room to mount the board and speaker. I need to know which unit would work. The train is the Santa Fe diesel.

Thanks

I've mounted True Blast sound units in many post war steam and diesel locomotives and they worked just fine. You'll have to cut the plug off the end of the black and red wires to allow soldering to the older connections. In general the red wire goes to the pick-up rollers and the black wire goes to the chassis. If you get the bell sound instead of the whistle when you activate the whistle control, just reverse the wires.

If at first you don't succeed, throw it in the spare parts box.
