Dcc decoder

I recently purchased an Bachmann HO 51005 American 4-4-0 With Coal Load, Pennsylvania Railroad #566
Dcc ready.
The description said it takes a 8 pin but I'm unclear on what to buy so I can control it and have sounds.
I sent bachmann an email a month ago with no response.
