A picture of your K27 actually plowing snow would be great

If you plow with the K-27 be careful not to let snow melt and run down inside the tender.  Even though there is a raised edge around the opening that is under the coal pile, water can still run down inside the tender along the front edge next to the coal doors.

I'm going to seal that opening and then be careful when running in the rain and plowing snow.

You know what would be a real kick-butt project?  A plough like the one Ambroid had many years ago in HO scale.  That would be really sharp; and as a fillipe, one could fashion controls for flanging and plowing, like broadening the wings, etc.

Keep an eye on Model Railroad News--their review sample has a plow--and it has been snowing quie a bit in their area lately--perhaps we'll see a snow shot on the Oregon Pine Belt--
