True but it seems the poster did not actually know much about it besides its location, it also seemed that after about 24 hours that no one would post but if anyone still wants to give it a  shot they are welcome to.

Well, if I said where it was, it'd give it away :P. Tell me if you give up.

Ohio Power Company #3 0-6-0
The 3 was built in 1920 by Baldwin Locomotive Works for Ohio Power Company.

OPC later became part of American Electric Power, who donated the 3 and also steam locomotive No. 2 to the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway in the late 1980's.

The 3 is undergoing a full restoration inside the Nelsonville shops.

Nice job scotty, too bad conrail quality wasn't here  ;)

Well, I'm here..five days too late. But I proved the law of probablity ;D, and got to see a GP-18 for the first time. It's an ugly locomotive.

NYC RDC3 Which they mounted Jet engines on top of and got up to a fairly high speed I think around 160 or 180. Amazingly, it only took a mile to stop in emergency.

"Black Beetle"- NYC's sad attempt  to compete with airlines :-\ and to pick themselves up after the retirement of the 20th Century Limited, Wolverine, and Emire State Express. >:( Even after its test run reaching 183 mph :o it was stripped from its "embelishments" and put back into service as a regular RCD-3 car. :'(

If I want to post an image using the second button on left above on the rows entitled ''Add BBC tags'', - I get '''' in the message box.

Then what do I do ? ???

Guilford Guy

Hmm, you should get [ img ] [ /img ] (minus the spaces between the letters and brackets and between the 2 tags. You post a link in between the tags. Just remember never post spaces!

then you paste the URL of the image between the tags.

if you click the

button above, that will inset the image tags into your message, like this:

then paste the URL of your photo inbetween those tags, like this:

and the result should be this:

This should be easy to answer:

what kind of steam locomotive is it?

(0-4-0 tank engine is not enough as an answer)

Beatle (TrainBrain)

An old, rusted, "backwards", "put aside", European one? :P ::)
