Bachmann HO Scale Point to Point Reversing Track Set

I have an HO Scale Point to Point Reversing Track Set (44547). To work with my layout, I need to extend the cable that connects the Speed Controller (item 44214) to the track cable. This requires an extension cable with pin type connectors with one female end and one male end. Bachmann has confirmed that they do not offer an extension cable. Can you recommend a cable extender that will work.

You can use a stereo extension cable with a 3.5mm plug on one end and a socket on the other to extend the power cable. Most retail stores with an electronics department carry them, but if you cannot find one locally, they are available on Amazon.
