Forney Decoder

I just purchased a Forney without sound and have a question on operating the Forney on an anolog system (temporarily). How do I remove the decoder? Looking over the engine, it looks like I just remove the bottom two screws to remove the plate, then remove the one screw holding in the decoder. After the decoder is removed, then I just place in the dummy plugs. Is that the correct way to do it?

Thanks,

Steve

Dear Steve,
Yes, but it will run fine on analog without removing the decoder.
Have fun!

Thanks for getting back to me on this. I am happy that I can use it without removing the decoder.
