Anybody have an idea for a good structure to use for a mine headhouse? I think I have room for one of the tipples to have a headhouse.

Do you have the Walther's catalog?  Several good ones, I have a few pictures if you need them. One is a tall tipple #933-3089, conveyor available separately.

I have tipples.  But, IIUC, the coal came out of the head house to the tipple and thence to rail cars or trucks.

That one is also a Model Power kit I believe.

And JV Models makes one called the Burnt River Mine.....I have seen it assembled....nice kit.

I saw that one and would work except it just seems to shriek EUROPEAN!! Or is it just me?

I agree, Gene....that was the reason I didn't link it for you in my post.....some of those kits just cannot be "Americanized".
